This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information by Gurru, an AI-powered mobile application and related websites (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you accept this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Gurru complies with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, and other relevant legislation. We process personal information based on: (a) performance of our contract with you; (b) your explicit consent; (c) compliance with legal obligations; (d) protection of vital interests; and (e) legitimate business interests (service delivery, security, fraud prevention, and business improvement). Personal information is used only as described in this Policy and is not sold to third parties.
Gurru collects only the minimum personal information necessary to provide, secure, and improve the Services. User-submitted content (prompts, images, audio, face data) is transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for processing. Gurru does not store user prompts or generated content on its own infrastructure.

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, and fulfill legitimate business interests. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized unless otherwise required by law.
New processing purposes will be notified via Privacy Policy update before implementation.
When you link third-party accounts (Google, Apple), information is used only to perform our contract and provide Services (name, profile picture, email address). Email and calendar sync is only for service delivery—we do not use this data to train, improve, or fine-tune AI models, and we comply with Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
Personal information may be disclosed to trusted third parties for anonymization, personalization, or service enhancement. Personal data is not sold.
User-submitted content (prompts, images, audio, face photos) is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing only. Photos are not stored after content generation. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Gurru is a platform for transmitting content to external AI systems and does not retain user-submitted data.
User content is processed by third-party AI providers. Information is shared with third parties only as described in this Policy. We select providers with strong data protection measures but cannot guarantee transmission security. Gurru is not responsible for third-party data handling once content is transmitted.
We may also share device identifiers, cookies, and location data with service providers for analytics and advertising. Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights/safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests. Users should not submit sensitive, confidential, regulated, or proprietary information to AI providers.

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for operational, security, analytics, and marketing purposes. Users may disable cookies through browser settings, though this may affect functionality. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are used to track website traffic and user activity. Gurru is not responsible for Google's use of your data in violation of our instructions.
Gurru does not sell personal data. Advertising and analytics are used only for attribution and measurement.
Gurru implements reasonable organizational and technical safeguards. However, no digital system is completely secure. Content submission is at your own risk.
Gurru does not use user content to train, improve, or fine-tune its own AI systems. However, third-party AI providers may use submitted content for safety, quality control, or model improvement according to their policies. Users are responsible for reviewing each provider's privacy terms before use.
AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or harmful content. Gurru does not control AI outputs and disclaims liability for their accuracy or consequences.
Gurru acts solely as a transmission interface to third-party AI systems. We are not responsible for: (a) how third-party providers store or use data; (b) AI-generated outputs, errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies; (c) content review by third parties; (d) third-party data retention; or (e) third-party policy changes.
To provide features such as AI portrait generation or avatar creation ("Feature Name"), Gurru allows users to upload photos from their device or capture images using the device camera. These features may involve the processing of "Face Data."
What we collect: When you use these features the app captures image data (the visual pixels) from your device’s camera or gallery. We do not use Apple's TrueDepth API, and we do not collect "facial prints" or biometric identifiers used for device authentication. We only process the visual image data you explicitly provide.
How we use it: Face data is used exclusively to perform the requested feature (for example, apply artistic filters, generate AI-based avatars, or produce portrait-style outputs). Face data is never used for marketing, advertising, or user profiling by Gurru.
Sharing & storage: Your image is transmitted securely (HTTPS/TLS) to third-party AI processing partners selected to perform the requested transformation (for example, OpenAI, Stability AI, Anthropic, Perplexity). Gurru does not store your face data on our servers. The data is shared only for the purpose of performing the requested AI transformation.
Retention: Face data is processed in real time to generate the AI response. Gurru retains no face data after the response is produced. Our third-party partners are contractually required to delete or anonymize submitted images after processing, as set out in Section 8 and in their respective privacy policies; however, you should review each provider's terms for full details.
User control & opt-in: Processing of face data is entirely opt-in. No face data is collected unless you explicitly interact with an AI feature that requests it. You may withdraw consent and stop using the feature at any time. To request deletion or raise concerns, contact us at repsiapp@gmail.com. Note that deletion requests may be limited where data has already been processed or where third-party providers retain copies under their policies.
Important safety note: Do not upload government IDs, passports, or other sensitive identity documents into these features. Avoid submitting images that contain personal data of others without their consent.
Personal information may be stored or processed on servers outside your country. International transfers comply with applicable data protection laws. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers where applicable.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. Depending on your location, the minimum age may be higher. Additional safeguards are implemented for users under 18, and certain features are not available. Gurru does not knowingly collect data from users below the minimum age. Contact us if you believe a minor is using the Services.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: (a) access your personal information; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) restrict or object to processing; (e) data portability; and (f) withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at repsiapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. Please note that certain legal or operational reasons may prevent deletion of some data.
Gurru reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of revisions.
